Lemon cupcakes

Today’s daily make was a lovely batch of lemon cupcakes with a dollop of lemon curd in the middle and some buttercream icing and sprinkles on top.

They were so tasty that… ooops, I forgot to take a picture of them! The lemon curd idea is from the Hummingbird Bakery book, but the cupcakes recipe is my own, adapted from an Ocado one.

Tomorrow is mostly being spent commuting to and from London, so we’ll see what crafty little thing I can sneak into my day :)

Today’s make is a simple card to wish two friends a lovely wedding day as we won’t be able to make it to their reception. It also ticks something off my to-do list as I’ve been meaning to get back to them for a while!
Yesterday, I opted for going out into the garden and taking photos of the flowers (and cats) as this is the first year we’ve put the effort into maintaining a nice garden. It feels really lovely to sit outside and be surrounded by nice flowers and plants. :)
